Freaked out by traveling with your kids? As a mom with a toddler myself, so am I. I always look to make sure when I travel the space has what my child needs. This is why we made our Airbnb so kid-friendly. Read on for the amenities that await you at Sailor's Rest to make your vacation as stress-free as possible.
1) Outlet covers: We have them! This is such a simple thing that is often overlooked by hosts.
2) A Pack N Play and baby countertop bath. Your little one will sleep and bathe comfortably at Sailor's Rest.
3) All the Essentials so if you forget something, no motherly panic attacks. We have a welcome basket of baby essentials such as wipes, swim diapers, q-tips, etc. If you don't see what you need just ask. We can probably provide it.
4) A pint-sized swing and plenty of room to run around and explore. We have 1.7 acres of gardens that are mostly gated. Get your kids outside and exploring safely at Sailor's Rest!
5) A pool with lots of toys and floaties. Kids love swimming in our pool and we have plenty of toys so no need to panic if you forget yours and no cramming giant blow up floaties in your car. Save that room for your luggage. Relax by our pool while your kids work up a good nap by splashing around. Make sure to always supervise children by the pool and throughout the property of course.
6) Expert hosts on kid-friendly activities on Johns Island and Charleston. We keep to ourselves but are always available for questions and a chat if you are up for it, so ask away! We'll be glad to provide recommendations for kid-friendly activities in the Charleston area. (Hint: Bee City and The Goatery are little-known great places for kids that many locals don't even know about!)
7) Chickens & Koi Fish to feed. Kids love feeding animals and you don't even have to leave Sailor's Rest to have a great experience with nature. Just ask us how to feed them and we'll show you the ropes.
8) Noise-friendly hosts. We know kids can be noisy and we don't mind at all! You don't have to shush your child constantly. Let them have fun and play, cry, happy dance, whatever.
